There was more good news to celebrate as the winner of the third Golden Ticket from UKG was announced as Glibert Book Shop in St John’s Wood London.
UKG has been giving away the £500 Golden Tickets as part of an ongoing commitment to supporting independent retailers. The tickets have been hidden in retailers’ UKG orders.
Ashish Patel, owner of Gilbert Book Shop said: “We’ve been UKG customers for over 25 years so it was a real delight to be one of their Golden Ticket winners. Over the years UKG have always provided us with great service and have a fantastic product offering, so it’s going to very easy spending this voucher. Thanks UKG!”
Darren Cave, director of independent field sales explains the rationale behind the Golden Tickets: “The independent sector is really important to UKG so we decided to launch a range of promotions which are a little different with the aim of reinforcing just how much our Independent customers mean to us.”
- The winner of UKG’s Kindred PG Live stand promotion to win a luxury spa experience worth £250, has also been announced. Sarah Barrington of Blue Dog in Clare, Suffolk is the lucky winner. Since winning the competition, Sarah has opened an account with UKG and is looking to order some of the Kindred product.

UKG sales exec Tracey Markham with Andy Jones and his son Ethan. And in the UKG Incredibles 2 competition, Andy Jones, owner of Kev Jones & Son of Gosport won a family trip for four to Disneyland Paris. All independent customers who ordered the Incredibles 2 FSDU were entered into the draw. According to Tracey Markham, UKG sales executive, Andy was ‘over the moon’ when she rang to tell him the good news.
