Glick’s annual Christmas competition highlights wonderful retailers’ displays

Aaaand… it’s a wrap. Glick’s annual festive window display competition had so many entries the giftwrap specialist picked four winners this year!

Lerwick’s Westside Pine, Hugs & Kisses in Tettenhall, Cardiff’s Paperweight, and Expressions Of Broadstairs took the honours thanks to voting at Glick HQ in Bradford on which of the wonderful window displays were the most aesthetically pleasing.

MD Becky Dobson said: “We absolutely love to see our customers’ Christmassy shop window displays because they make us all warm and fuzzy and because we know how much time and effort goes into your windows so we want to celebrate that.

“Huge congratulations to all our winners and a massive thank you to everyone who entered this year – we’ll be in touch regarding your prizes!”

More than 80 businesses in the Market Street area of Kirkby Lonsdale have been affected, including the store run by Mark Nelson which he’s currently unable to access to assess the damage. The local council has set up the Kirkby Lonsdale Fire Disaster Recovery Fund aiming to raise £100,000 to assist residents and businesses.
