“Oh bloody wow!” exclaimed Jo Wilson, founder of Dandelion Stationery on hearing that she had reached the finals in The Henries. “I’m absolutely, totally, utterly over the moon! I am lost for words and my hubby will confirm that does not happen often!” she added, one of the many very happy publishers who have been spreading the good news about making it into the finals of this year’s Henries awards.

And immerse yourself in a great dose of joy from some of the finalists (with more to follow later…)
Jo Hawkins, designer and founder of Apple & Clover
“I was over the moon to find out Apple & Clover had been nominated for a Henries award. It’s such a privilege to be nominated alongside so many industry greats and for our designs to stand out among so many amazing entries.”
Rhian Apgruffydd, founder of Gruff Pawtraits
“I am so thrilled and of course so grateful for being nominated for this award!! The first time I’d ever heard of The Henries at The Ladder Club, I clearly remember thinking “I want one of those!” So, to come this close and actually get a nomination is reward enough for what I have put into this little business.”
Iain Hamilton, founder and creator of Bewilderbeest
“Well, knock me down with a ginormous feather! I am delighted, and slightly shocked, to be a finalist for The Henries – It’s more exciting than when I first found out about king-size chocolate bars! Hats off to all the other finalists, and top marks to the judges for recognising that I’d done my very best colouring-in!”
Hear it from Iain himself…
Rosie Harrison, founder of Rosie Made a Thing
Woohoooo! Over the moon to be nominated in four categories this year and so excited for the big night! Thanks so much to everyone who voted for us.”
Lorraine and Ian Bradley, co-owners of Rush Design
“This is so exciting to be nominated for such a fabulous award. So thrilled and honoured that our designs have been selected as finalists”.
Bex Hassett of Bexy Boo
“OMG I couldn’t be more happy than I am right now. I am literally jumping! The Boo-anicals range originated from an idea during the first lockdown where my family and I were spending a lot of time in the garden marvelling at the amount of daisies and buttercups we had in our lawn. These little gems from nature sparked off the idea to add pressed flowers to a card and I have never looked back.
Thank you so much to all those that voted me, I am so grateful x”
Amanda and Frank Mountain, co-owners of Lola Design
“Wow we weren’t expecting this. Thank you so much to everyone who has nominated us. We are so very excited to be selected to go through to the final. Good luck to all nominees – you are all a very talented bunch xx.”
The winners of all the awards categories will be unveiled at a Boogie Wonderland-themed awards extravaganza on Thursday 7 October, which will take place at The Royal Lancaster Hotel, London – and will be hosted by none other than the marvellous Tom Allen.
