As festival season approaches the Widdop And Co team has taken a new approach to its autumn product launch, adding even more to the ranges revealed at PG Live, including greeting cards and gifts from Say It With Songs and working with publishers Meg Hawkins, Raspberry Blossom, Pigment and Hotchpotch among those on licensed gift ranges based on their greeting card brands.

The four-week Widdopfest ’24 kicks off with a webinar from ceo Stephen Illingworth on Monday, 1 July, at 3pm where he’ll be giving a sneak peak of what’s in store for this year’s festival and the products being launched – he got a taste for social media with his reels from PG Live as can be seen below.

“There’s so much going on in the world of Widdop,” Stephen said, “we have loads to share with new launches from Meg Hawkins Art, Hotchpotch London, and Pigment to talk about.

“We thought we’d do something a little different for our autumn launch so, with festival season starting, we thought we’d kick it off with Widdopfest 2024!”

The 700 new products added for autumn include furniture, greeting cards and garden decorations with pieces from its homegrown and licensed brands such as Say It With Songs, Celebrations, Bambino, Hestia, Country Living and Naturecraft.

The announcement of Widdopfest follows swiftly on the heels of Widdop And Co becoming the distributor for the Say It With Songs card range, further bolstering its greetings credentials as well as its music connections.

Retailers can check out the webpage and sign up to visit the 141-year-old company’s 20,000ft showrooms in Oldham for Widdopfest on weekdays from 1-26 July plus Saturday and Sunday 20-21 July.

And the family-run business will be keeping people updated with social media announcements about special guests and events throughout the month.
