Cute Carte Blanche brand partners with neonatal charity to cheer up mums of babies in hospital
Tiny Tatty Teddy is set to bring raise a smile on Sunday by helping deliver Mother’s Day gifts to mums with babies currently being cared for in hospital.
The cute nursery sub-brand of Me To You, owned by Carte Blanche Greetings, is once again partnering with neonatal charity Ickle Pickles to bring support to mums with premature babies.
This follows the success of the joint Christmas initiative between the charity and the publisher which involved them giving gift bundles to families with tiny tots in the special baby care units over the festive period.
Right now, though, the focus is on supporting mums who will be spending the imminent Mother’s Day (Sunday 27 March) in the neonatal units with their babies at The Royal Cornwall Hospital, Truro; The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, London; and The London Neonatal Transfer Service based at The Royal London Hospital.
The gift bundle includes a Mother’s Day card, Me To You bear, and an Ickle Pickles water bottle, and there will be one for every mum in each of the hospitals’ care.
Explaining the rationale behind the altruistic activity Grace Elphinstone, CBG’s marketing manager, says: “Our Tiny Tatty Teddy brand is all about celebrating baby milestones and treasuring tiny memories which fits perfectly with the Ickle Pickles ethos of giving every newborn a chance. We are delighted to have the opportunity to deliver gifts once again to mums with a baby in hospital on Mother’s Day to help bring a smile to their day.”
This Mother’s Day delivery forms part of 12 months of activity between Tiny Tatty Teddy and Ickle Pickles which also includes social and email activity to build awareness about the vital work the charity carries out.
Ickle Pickles’ long-term aim is to become the charity partner for 150 neonatal units and donate life-saving equipment to everyone in England and Wales.
The organisation’s founder Rachael Marsh adds: “As a charity, Ickle Pickles is focused on raising awareness of premature birth and raising funds to buy vital equipment for neonatal units. Having the opportunity to work with the Tiny Tatty Teddy brand has already been an amazing experience and their reputation and reach will help us immensely to further our charitable aims.”
