Three-month countdown to PG Live 2022

Exhibitors and non-exhibitors invited to a prep meeting on March 23

With only three months to go until Progressive Greetings Live 2022 opens its doors to welcome retailers and overseas distributors into the inspiring world of greeting cards, exhibiting publishers are revving up with their preparations and launch plans for the show, which will take place June 7-8 at London’s Business Design Centre.

“Having been fortunate to have been privy to a sneak peek at just what some of the PG Live exhibitors have lined up already, this year’s show is on course to be a real stonker,” exclaimed Warren Lomax, co-show director of PG Live.

“As well as a huge number of leading UK brands, from Belly Button to The Art File, UKG to Emotional Rescue, PG Live’s stellar exhibitor line-up also includes a smorgasbord of brand-new start-ups, emerging companies making for an enticing Springboard area as well as some notable international names – Artige from Holland, Perleberg from Germany and Affirmations from Australia to name but three.”

Greeting retailers and overseas distributors are urged to register for the show to be assured of receiving the colourful PG Live Show Preview publication which will give a taster of some of the treats in store. To register, just click here.

To help ensure exhibitors will be in top PG Live condition, and make the most of all the free marketing opportunities which serve to set the show apart as well as pick up on lots of exhibiting top tips, all are invited to attend an insightful, peppy preparation meeting on the morning of Tuesday, 23 March (10am-noon), at the BDC.

Convening on the same day and in the same venue as the afternoon’s GCA’s Speed Dating With Dragons event, it will be a double whammy extravaganza for many.

Of the PG Live preparation meeting Jim Bullough, operations director of PG Live, said: “In two short hours we will take publishers right through the exhibiting experience, how to stand out from the crowd, how to avoid the common pitfalls, make the most of the free marketing opportunities, and get excited about being a part of the greatest greeting card show in the world – oh yes, and there are free biscuits to boot!”

This year for the first time, non-exhibiting publishers are also invited to attend the PG Live meeting. “In the true spirit of belonging, we are opening up the meeting to anyone who may be thinking of exhibiting at PG Live or any other show for that matter,” added Jim.

Anyone wishing to attend the meeting should email Jim Bullough on jimb@max-publishing.co.uk, while anyone wanting to find out more about exhibiting at PG Live should contact Tracey Arnaud on traceya@max-publishing.co.uk or Warren Lomax on warren@max-publishing.co.uk
