The Retas 2021 To Move To Tuesday 16 November 2021

Following the announcement by the Prime Minister Boris Johnson yesterday (June 14), The Retas 2021 greeting card retailer awards are moving to a new date – Tuesday 16 November 2021 – and will go ahead as a physical event.

The Retas awards event, which this year takes on a Finery of Greenery theme, will be staged in the Ballroom of JW Marriott Grosvenor House hotel on London’s Park Lane, in its traditional lunchtime slot. (The event was initially planned to take place on July 14).

Commenting, Jakki Brown, joint md of Max Publishing which owns and organises The Retas, said: “Three weeks ago we really believed we were home and dry with the date for The Retas this year. The Prime Minister’s recent announcement confirmed however that it would be impossible to run the awards as a physical event in our planned July time slot, so in order to ensure that it could go ahead as a wonderful networking celebration of the UK’s best greeting card retailers, we have pushed it forward four months into very safe territory.”
