The Retas 2019 Deadline – A Week To Go

Calling all great card retailers to blow their own trumpets and bang their drums, but make it quick as there is only a week to go until the deadline for entering The Retas 2019.

The Retas are the only dedicated awards for greeting card retailers. Winning a Retas trophy is recognised as a true accolade of retailing excellence in the sector and with award categories covering indies through to multiple chains, department stores to grocers and everything in between, the awards reflect the diversity of greeting card retailing.

“As ever, we’re looking to reward retail excellence, inventiveness, passion and commitment – the greeting card retailers who stand out head and shoulders from the crowd,” states Warren Lomax, joint md of Max Publishing, who owns and organises The Retas. “As reflected by the masses of nominations we have received from publishers, agents and reps as well as the entries that have arrived at our offices, this industry is well blessed with some incredible retailers. So, if you are a card retailer, don’t be modest, just make the most of the opportunity to put your shop forward and blow your own trumpet. Think of the fame, the glory, the great morale boost for your team and the PR opportunities reaching the finals affords!”

In addition to the retail categories, there is also an award for Best Retail Employee, for those special members of staff who have gone the extra mile as well as Best Retail Initiative, which is for a specific promotion or activity that a retailer has undertaken in the last year.
