Some 16 female members of Sheffield greeting card printer, Loxleys, recently ‘mucked in’ to raise money for a great cause in memory and support of their colleagues. The christened ‘Ladies of Loxleys’, who work for the, recently completed the Cancer Research 2021 Pretty Muddy Race For Life, and are aiming to raise £2,000 for the charity.
The plucky team undertook the challenge In loving memory of their colleagues Craig Zelly and Kath Rowley and in support of Angie Bahardo, who is currently bravely fighting her battle against cancer and was the race’s guest of honour, supporting from the side lines.
Commenting, Tony Lorriman, Loxleys’ managing director said: “Running as the ‘Ladies of Loxleys’ was a wonderful tribute to the memory of those employees who are sadly no longer with us and a great support to those who continue to fight their battle with cancer.”
