The greeting card community deserved a great big joyful party, and The Henries awards evening was certainly that as 500 publishers, retailers and trade suppliers made the most of the opportunity of getting back together to celebrate and network.
The photo gallery is now live containing all the glorious evidence that a good time was had by all at the event which took place last Thursday (October 7) at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London.

The photo gallery covers the whole event, from the champagne reception, the awards through to fun shots in the House of Cards photo booth.
Here’s just a flavour…
“What an unbelievably fantastic evening! It was so good to be able to celebrate alongside our industry friends in the flesh and not via a screen.
We were astounded to be nominated for a total of nine awards and so incredibly happy to win four of them! I was in the bar until 4am as I didn’t want the evening to end!” commented Claire Williams, co-owner of Paper Salad.
“The day after the night/morning before is always a sore one! We had such a good night thank you; 12 members of staff; Henries virgins & Henries veterans…each had a ball.
Winning one never gets old. Tom Allen was great…again. I love his references to gsm paper weight etc. He hit the perfect note!” Matt Genower, managing director of Five Dollar Shake.
“I’m absolutely over the moon with our trophy – it just means so much to us small publishers. We send a humongous thanks to those that voted – we could not be happier,” Jo Wilson, founder of Dandelion Stationery.
“What a great night! Just about recovered from all the excitement and my three day hangover!” Rosie Harrison, owner of Rosie Made a Thing, which won two Henries awards.
“It really was a wonderful evening, I absolutely loved every minute of it. just what we needed after an awful 18 months!” Becky Dobson, managing director of Glick.
“What a great night it was! Everyone was so pleased to get some form of normal back again!” exclaimed Simon Wagstaff, managing director of IC&G.
