The retailer finalists of the Greats Gift Retailer Awards 2021 have just been announced, with some well- respected greeting card retailers featuring in the line-up.
“Entrants and nominees exceeded expectations, with the pandemic challenging all retailers to really up their game, especially while the doors were closed,” commented Sue Marks editor of Progressive Gift & Home and GiftandHome.net, which owns and organises The Greats (as well as PG Buzz and Progressive Greetings). “Gift retailers magnificently rose to the challenges, showing their resilience and their resourcefulness in finding ways to go on trading successfully. The bar has been set very high this year, and every one of our finalists excelled in their category.”
One of the many who were delighted to hear the news of reaching the finals of The Greats 2021 is Adam de Wolff, co-owner of The Indigo Tree, Streatham and Crystal Palace, who also features in the finals of The Retas 2021 greeting card retailing awards.
“Wow, this is amazing news. What a great year 2021 is proving to be despite all the Covid issues!” exclaimed Adam. “We are truly humbled to have once again been nominated by our wonderful agents and suppliers. Looking forward to seeing everyone on 27 July at the PG Live 2021 trade exhibition to celebrate and maybe buy some cards too!!”
