The Calies UK Calendar Awards – the photographic evidence!

PG Buzz spread the good news last night about the winners of The Calies , the new UK Calendar Awards, but here is some photographic evidence – and there’s lots more to come!

The historic Stationers’ Hall was certainly buzzing yesterday evening (29 November) as over 150 retailers, calendar publishers, diary manufacturers, licensors and trade suppliers enjoyed the schmoozing reception before taking their seats in the impressive grand hall.

Comedian Tania Edwards went down a storm with the audience. “You can tell what stage you are in your life by your choice of calendars. You start by liking cats, move onto pop stars, then rock stars, then back to cats…me, I have just ordered 39 copies of the Hurrah for Gin calendar!” she quipped, making reference to a Portico Designs’ title that went on to win the award for Best Entertainment or Humorous Calendar.

All the photos from The Calies are hosted on the event’s standalone digital gallery here where you can view, download in high resolution and share images on social media to your heart’s content!

All the winners took to the stage with their trophies with host, comedian Tania Edwards joining Max Publishing’s Warren Lomax, Gale Astley and Jakki Brown on the central steps.
