Taking brands higher

Sales agency opens permanent showroom where Laura Darrington cards are displayed

Sales agency Dizzy Heights has taken its offer to the next level with the opening of a permanent dedicated showroom where retailers can discover the delights of businesses including Laura Darrington Designs.

The space for the business which has “elevating brands” as its mantra is at Paintworks in Bristol where owner Kate Ellis has more than 1,500 products on display.

“Laura Darrington’s are the only cards we sell,” Kate told PG Buzz, “we love Laura’s artwork, particularly her latest style in the Spectrum Collection, and they have proven to be really popular with our customers.

“We are predominantly gifts and homewares but Laura Darrington cards fit really well with our brands and add another great splash of colour and design to the showroom.”

Since the showroom opened earlier this month to fulfil Kate’s dream of giving retailers the opportunity to see “the best from all our brands in one great space”, she has been fully booked for visits from her customers across the south west and south Wales.

First through the doors were Christopher Poyser and Kate Filby, who own Urban Rustics in Devizes, and said: “We had such a lovely day with Kate who has done a cracking job of setting up her own showroom.

“Forget trade shows, this really is the way forward as a one-stop-shop – beautifully displayed and so inspiring.”

As well as Laura Darrington, Dizzy Heights also represent Designworks Collective, Forma House, Upper Canada UK, Portico Designs, Aery Living, Design by Remember, Rader, and Roomytown, for gifts, homewares and art prints, and Kate added: “All the brands we work with are very excited to be a part of this new venture and have been a great support.”
