3M, The Art File, Maped, Pentel, Snopak, Staedtler and Zebra Pen first to commit to NSW
A love of stationery really will be something to write home about in May, as National Stationery Week 2025 has already secured a very strong roster of sponsors with many more leading brands and retailers expected to join in the annual celebration of all things on the pen, pencil and notebook front.
National Stationery Week this year will run 12-18 May and 3M, The Art File, Maped, Pentel, Snopak, Staedtler and Zebra Pen are the first raft of sponsors on board for the 2025 event.

“It’s fabulous how much people love their stationery,” said NSW coordinator Sarah Laker, “and it’s even more fabulous that these great companies have all committed already to supporting the initiative. Having such an early pledge from these brands means we can gain even more traction in the run up to the big week!”
National Stationery Week is owned by Max Publishing, which also owns PG Buzz, and Sarah has headed up and organised the event for the last couple of years alongside running her two Stationery Supplies stores in Marple and Wilmslow.
“The plans for this year’s NSW are coming together wonderfully, thanks to the support from the stationery community. We’re in the final throes of completing a new website, which has been sponsored by 3M, which will include lots of info, resources and inspiration for getting involved,” Sarah told PG Buzz.
Following the success of last year’s campaign, there will be a seven-week countdown to NSW and then a host of activity for each day of the actual Week, with a separate sponsor for each element, as well as a kick-off shelfie competition.

The Art File has returned as the sponsor for the One Week To Go countdown to NSW, and sales and marketing manager James Mace said: “We’re absolutely delighted to be supporting NSW once again this year. With the success of our new stationery range in 2024, we have increased our offering for 2025 to include A4 and A6 notebooks, as well as new designs in our popular A5 hardback notebook range.
“The NSW campaign was such a success last year, we thought it would be equally as beneficial to get involved again this year to both support and showcase our new stationery launches for 2025. We can’t wait!”

Loyal sponsor Pentel was also quick to commit and marketing manager Wendy Vickery, who is already busy working on the theme for the Tuesday of the week, explained: “It really was a no-brainer for Pentel to jump at the opportunity to be involved again – there’s no other initiative quite like it.
“NSW enables us to build even closer relationships with the hard-working, hugely-supportive independent retailer community and their customers.
“In previous years we’ve run sampling activities featuring high profile products, combined with competitions for retailers and their customers to win superb prizes. We’ll be announcing further exciting plans for 2025 shortly.”
Over at Staedtler UK, the team is back as sponsor for the Wednesday, and a spokesman commented: “We’re excited to once again sponsor National Stationery Week in 2025, building on the vibrant success of 2024.

“As a highlight in our calendar, this celebration of all things stationery perfectly aligns with our passion for colour and creativity. NSW unites stationery enthusiasts nationwide, and we can’t wait to be part of the fun, inspiring even more people to embrace their love of stationery.”
Incredibly proud to have won Campaign Of The Year from the British Office Supplies & Services Federation for her NSW work in 2024 Sarah added: “I don’t want to jinx anything but I’m aiming to have an bigger reach this year – it’s hard work but great fun and so worth it to be able to shout about our love of stationery.”

Sarah would love to hear from retailers or companies who would like to join in the event. Please email her at sarah@nationalstationeryweek.com
