It’s that time of year for all notebook, pen and pencil lovers to get on down to the Business Design Centre in Islington where the London Stationery Show throws open its doors in just six days’ time.

As the only UK event dedicated to the paper and writing instruments industry, retailers and brands come together for the two-day trade show, which has returned to its spring dateline – Tuesday and Wednesday, May 17-18.

The 2022 event will also include several features, such as Indie Matters Business Advice Clinics which will give retailers the opportunity to sit down with an industry expert in a one-to-one session for advice on marketing, social media, sales strategy, and financial planning.

The Retail Matters programme has been conceived to support retailers in all aspects of running a successful business through live talks with leading industry professionals and successful peers. With topics such as creative content strategy, sales techniques for independent retailers, how to sell on Instagram, and mastering PR. The full programme is here.
