Set up by Benjamin Lebus, Mob Kitchen is an online publishing company, producing one-minute, healthy ‘how-to’ food videos, on a budget. Its soaring success has seen an explosion of popularity on social media platforms, amplified by the collaborations and celebrity guest chefs, who are set weekly recipe challenges.

Understanding the wider interests of their audience, has also helped set Mob Kitchen apart and this interactive cookbook features a carefully curated playlist on Spotify – offering a scannable QR code alongside each recipe, so you can get in the mood for food, with the right song tailored to each meal. Each recipe accompanies a tune, covering a variety of genres, for all different moods and times of day.

Perfectly timed to coincide with Scribbler’s ‘Back to Uni’ campaign, the cookbook is exclusively available at Scribbler stores on the high street. Scribbler has also designed a new Mob Kitchen inspired greeting card to celebrate the new partnership, featuring Pablo Escargot, Al Mascarpone and the Krayfish Twins.

Delighted to be the first high street retailer to be stocking the Mob Kitchen book, Scribbler co-founder John Procter summed up the appeal of the brand: “It’s great to have a brand combining all my greatest passions – music, art and food – so this has all the ingredients to be a smash hit! For anyone moving home for the first time, a few easy recipe ideas presented in a fun-loving way should give them the greatest start to a whole new world of opportunities as they embark on life’s next chapter.”

Commenting on the rationale behind extending the collaboration into a greeting card, John added, “Never one to take ourselves too seriously, our exclusive card design was our own token way to show our support to the team at Mob Kitchen.”

To celebrate the book launch, Scribbler is hosting an exclusive Mob Kitchen book signing with Lebus and his team, in the Scribbler Wardour street store on Wednesday 12 September, between 4-6pm.
