Sara Miller licensed to win at B&LLAs

Fashion legend Jeff Banks enthralled awards audience with his pre-dinner talk

 

Having started out as a greeting card designer many moons ago, Sara Miller’s creative prowess has seen her successfully build the profile of her brand across multi-licensing collaborations – and she clinched Best Licensed Fashion Or Talent Brand award at the B&LLAs for the third year in succession.

Sara Miller London was among the winners announced at the glittering event held yesterday afternoon, 25 April, for the Brand & Lifestyle Licensing Awards 2024 at London’s Royal Lancaster Hotel.

Hosted by comedian Cally Beaton, the B&LLAs event was attended by over 400 retailers, licensees and brand owners, which included those from the greeting card and stationery scene such as Tache Crafts, Portico Designs, Carousel Calendars, I Like Birds, and Blueprint Collections who were all among the finalists., and Caran d’Ache’s Keith Haring Collection, distributed by Jakar International in the UK, won Best Brand Licensed Gifting Product Or Range.

As well as winning the award for overall brand activity, several Sara Miller London ranges were feted in the finalists’ line up, including the Haveli Garden Collection from Portico Designs, Haveli Garden Bath & Body Collection from Heathcote & Ivory, and Artisanne Noir Tableware Collection from Portmeirion.

Adding to a very memorable event, before the awards presentation revered fashion designer Jeff Banks captivated the audience with his fascinating story of his long business career that has seen him being involved in licensing for almost 60 years.
