HarperCollins approached comic card publisher for gift tome that’s set for Christmas sales
Rosie Harrison has definitely made a new thing as she’s working with publishing giant HarperCollins to turn her Rosie Made A Thing comic cards brand into a smart coffee-table book.
“We’ve been asked by customers for a book or collection of our cards for some time now.” Rosie told PG Buzz, “so when the lovely people at HarperCollins called, it seemed like a good time to go for it!”

The gift book is called Wine Not? A Book Of Grown-Up Decisions and is a whopping collection of Rosie’s funnies, based on the everyday lives of ordinary people.
Rosie added: “Basically, it’s more of our usual nonsense but now it’s published by HarperCollins so we feel properly grown up!
“We’ve had a lot of fun putting the book together, going back to my very first cards and trying to organise the silliness into coherent chapters. We’re really proud of our little gift book and happy that we can finally shout about it.”
With the launch due on 1 September, retailers can pre-order through their wholesaler or direct through HarperCollins and Wine Not? will be out just in time for Christmas gifting. Hard copies of the £9.99 book have yet to make their way to the Rose Made A Thing team and they’re looking forward to seeing it in real life ahead of the launch date.
Rosie said: “We’re planning a big party (I mean classy launch) at our local bookshop Kibworth Books, which is a brilliant little bookshop just a stone’s throw away from our studio. It’s great to be able to team up with such a fab local indie retailer that has supported us over the years.”
