Family holidays road tripping across America inspired Eleanor Bowmer’s latest hand-painted artwork that’s been picked up for a licensing partnership with Pure Table Top.
With some of Manchester-based Eleanor’s designs also featuring on her greeting cards, the just-released Electric Coast collection covers tableware, glassware, kitchen textiles, mugs and accessories, in her design style of hand-painted textures.
“It’s quirky, different and out of the ordinary,” production manager Lauren Kelly told PG Buzz, “Eleanor prides herself on creating beautiful, quirky, and hand-painted prints to adorn consumer’s homes.”
She said the vibrant palette of sugar pink, ocean blue, khaki green and a hint of ochre means each individual piece brings a mood-boosting pop of colour, with the aim of capturing the nostalgic feeling of summer sunsets and “the love you feel when you’re surrounded by family”.
And Eleanor added: “Inspired by my summers spent road tripping in America, Electric Coast brings my childhood memories to life in a collection that really captures the relaxed aesthetic and beauty of the West Coast with a colour palette that instantly evokes the feeling of endless summer days.”
Celebrating its 10th anniversary, Pure Table Top is a certified B Corp family-run business founded by Tanith Sellicks who said: “We put everything into our work because we know exactly what makes a mug your favourite mug – the weight of it in your hands, the perfect taper of the sides, the precise arch of the handle. We get that some bowls feel right for cereal eaten briskly in the morning while others are wholeheartedly for late night ice cream.”
Working with Eleanor’s artwork, the Pure Table Top team designed the full Electric Coast collection in house which is now available on the website.
