There was a double dose of smiles in Frame of Mind, the Ilminister-based card and gift shop, both from the retailer owner Richard Mitchell and an even more beaming one from customer Charlotte Evans, thanks to Caroline Gardner.
As part of Caroline Gardner’s 25th anniversary celebrations the publisher ran a competition through its stockists to offer both themselves and their customers the chance to win £800. Promoted on 1,000 leaflets that were distributed by participating Caroline Gardner stockists, it offered a prize of £300 worth of stock for the retailer and a £500 voucher for winning customer to spend in that shop.
“The aim of the competition was to give a little something back to our independent customers, thanking them for their support over the years while also rewarding the shop’s customers with a prize too,” explained Luca Bridges, independent sales manager of Caroline Gardner.
The winning entrant, and Frame of Mind customer, on being presented wityh her £500 voucher, Charlotte Evans commented “It was a lovely surprise as I had forgotten I had entered! I love that shop and can’t wait to spend the voucher.”
Caroline Gardner will be exhibiting at Harrogate Home and Gift, which starts this Sunday (14 July) and runs until Wednesday (17 July).
