Coming right after the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebration weekend, PG Live 2022 takes place on Tuesday and Wednesday, 7-8 June, in Islington’s beautiful Business Design Centre, in the heart of London.

To make sure you are part of it, register here to attend the UK’s biggest and only specialist greeting card trade show.

The PG Live team are busy ensuring all the last-minute show preparations are in the bag which includes, of course, includes ensuring this year’s keepsake tote bag is all in hand thanks to those creative folks at Paper Salad and Emotional Rescue doing the honours with the design for this year’s limited edition show memento.

Known for its bright neon designs Paper Salad has gone to town with a fabulous seascape design while Emo, not surprisingly, has gone down the humour route with an On The Ceiling design which champions the PG Live free lunch.

And talking of the latter, the PG Live team took time out a few days ago to undertake the important work of menu tasting with members of the Ankorstore team as the lunchroom and opening night party is this year kindly sponsored by the online B2B marketplace.

Jakki Brown, PG’s editor and managing director of show organisers Max Publishing, said: “The tasting menu went down a treat. The Good Eating Company’s executive chef Michael Jelley did us proud, but you’ll all have to wait until the lunch bell rings at the show to find out what tasty treats are in store for you.”

And remember there will be a very special postbag for Her Majesty The Queen, full of good wishes from greeting card publishers and retailers from the Cards For The Queen initiative thanks to the initiative instigated by the GCA and PG Live.

GCA members are being encouraged to create and sign greeting cards to mark Her Majesty’s 70th anniversary of her ascension to the throne, which will form a special Cards For The Queen feature display at the Progressive Greetings Live show.

In addition to these cards which will include publishers’ own celebratory messages, card companies are also being asked to donate extra cards that have either been made specifically for the occasion or are existing suitable designs, that will be made available at the show for visitors to select and write there and then, popping them into the Cards For The Queen postbox at PG Live.

All the written greeting cards will then be hand-delivered to Buckingham Palace by members of the GCA and PG Live teams.
