POC’s brand-new platform

Membership group Products Of Change kicks off milestone year for sustainability community

There’s a new place for the Products Of Change community in the shape of the sustainability membership organisation’s brand-new website.

The new site went now live and kicking yesterday, 7 March, for greeting card publishers, brand owners, suppliers, agencies and retailers to check out the revamped information and resource hub.

Helena Mansell-Stopher, ceo and founder of Products Of Change, said: “Since the launch of POC back in 2019, we had the ambition to build a community hub which could connect, educate, and enable real innovation sharing across the sustainability community and the global brand, retail, and licensing industry.

“That has become a reality with the launch of the new site – and, with the community enjoying its new not-for-profit status, 2024 is going to be a milestone year for the sustainability journey.”

Developed to dial up the community experience, the not-for-profit membership group aims is to offer enhanced knowledge-sharing, networking, education, storytelling and networking opportunities to drive sustainable change across the creative, brand, manufacturing, and retail industries.

At the end of 2023, Products Of Change officially became a not-for-profit membership organisation seeking to reinvest into its community and the new platform is designed with members – which include Danilo, The Art File, UK Greetings, Eco-friendly Card Company, and Carousel Calendars from the greetings world – front of mind.

It offers a fluid networking experience to enable instant connection across the POC community including with its industry ambassadors and sustainability advisors.

And the revamped site design places everything the POC community needs at members’ fingertips, such as its newly created educational syllabus with built-in progress tracker; wealth of educational and informative resources to share; and integrated platform for networking – all while placing the industry’s story front and centre.

Designed to deliver a whole new experience, there’s an enhanced Members’ Area offering the latest updates, information, and key dates for the diary – including member only meetings – via an easy-to-navigate dashboard.

From here, POC members are able to join the latest working groups, take part in agenda-setting forums and discussions, host their own group communications, chat, and even book Facetime meetings with the organisation’s sustainability team and experienced advisors.

There’s also an enhanced opportunity for members to share their story of development with the global brand industry – email Rob Hutchins at rob@productsofchange.com – read the latest members’ stories, learn from advisor case studies, and stay up-to-date with the latest global legislation, industry updates, and sustainability news from within and outside the creative, brand, licensing, and retail sectors by signing up to the twice-weekly newsletter, discover the exclusive Products Of Change magazine, and enjoy up-to-the-minute online content.

The site has been developed with Isle Of Wight-based design agency Nosy who last year made clear its purpose-driven pledge to work solely with companies driving action around sustainable development through business.

The Nosy team created a user experience that elevates the POC message and fosters meaningful interaction and learning, and the Members’ Area can now house cross-membership communication and groups including with some of the biggest member companies such The Walt Disney Company, Bravado, The British Olympic Association, Tesco, and The Lego Group – and there’s a section showcasing all current members.

An updated diary of events across both the POC and industry calendar gives a first-hand look at a year’s roster of online meetings, workshops, and networking sessions delivered by the organisation and its partners.

Over the coming few weeks, POC members are being invited to navigational sessions to explain how to use to Members’ Area to access the resources, information, and networking opportunities – for more email helena@productsofchange.com or rob@productsofchange.com.

“To say we’re excited the day is finally upon us and the new website has launched is the understatement of 2024. This is a milestone moment whatever way we look at it,” said Rob Hutchins, editor and community manager at Products Of Change.

“The new site and members area doesn’t just lift the POC game but, with seamless new ways of communicating across the membership, engaging with our partners, and providing you all with fluid access to the resources, information, networking opportunities, and content – it puts us well ahead of it, too.”
