PG Live Action: Prepare to have a hoot

Forget Twitter, Percy the owl will make real ‘twit twoo’ appearance at PG Live on the Owl My Love stand

Attending important trade shows may be a struggle for many busy retailers, but this June’s PG Live has put one speech attendee into all of a flutter.  Percy is a tawny owl from the Kent Owl Academy in Maidstone and he has had to juggle his busy schedule of attending educational events and offsite visits to ensure he can ‘fly in’ to PG Live to set Owl My Love’s owl-related designs really take off.

Jill Alex Hunter, founder of the card publishing company revealed more about her feathered friend: “Percy works on photography shoots, experience days and therapy visits and is a very busy owl.”

Placating any visitors’ worries Jill assured: “Percy is very docile as is imprinted (hand reared) so is not fazed about being around large groups of people.”

Out of her love of owls and animals alike Jill has pledged that for every order made at PG Live a £2 donation will be made towards the care of the animals kept and rescued at the centre.

PG Live takes place Tuesday 6 June and Wednesday 7 June at the Business Design Centre, London. All retailers and overseas greeting card distributors should register on www.progressivegreetingslive.com
