Progressive Greetings physical and digital editions ready to read
The anticipation is building for the last-ever Gavin & Stacey episode, the sparkly tops and Christmas jumpers are on, Progressive Greetings’ December 2024 edition landed a fair few days ago, and the digital version of the mag has been uploaded now too!
Bursting with industry news and views, retailer perspectives, cracking articles and product newness, it makes for a good read as we embrace the last few weeks of this year.
The news section covers recent developments from all aspects of the trade, from the recent spate of shop openings from cardies, the GCA’s Use It Or Lose It peaceful direct action to protect Royal Mail’s service as well as Bug Art’s significant compensation win against copiers. While the news section includes one success on beating copying, it remains a major issue for publishers, not least the widespread design theft that is blatant on the Temu online marketplace. The Viewpoints comments do not make for happy reading, but it’s an important issue. Click here to see what publishers have to say.

On the retail front, Medici Gallery has delighted Londoners as well as tourists with its phenomenal greeting card selection and exuberant window displays since the 1930s – fingers and toes are currently crossed that TfL’s redevelopment plans which will force the quirky card retailing landmark to move, do not come to fruition any time soon.
