Paul Yates joins Regal Publishing

Former Hambledon Studios sales director joins new greeting card publisher

New force in the wholesale publishing sector, Regal Publishing has bolstered its management team by recruiting high profile sales firepower Paul Yates (pictured above) as sales director. Paul has an extensive background in greeting cards, having been at Hambledon Studios for 23 years, including 14 years as sales director.

“It’s very exciting to have the opportunity to head up the sales of Regal Publishing,” says Paul Yates. “Regal is doing something very different in the market, offering a high quality ‘direct to retail’ product to wholesalers, distributors and volume buyers and it is great to part of this from the beginning.”

Regal Publishing launched 100+ everyday designs along with 65 Christmas designs at the beginning of April with strong take up.

“As important as the appeal and the saleability of the product, the fact that the cards are UK manufactured means that we are in full control of the supply chain,” says Paul. “Continuity and availability of the cards is of paramount importance to the stockist and to the retailer. In comparison, product manufactured in China is not always going to be available all of the time. Regal Publishing offers this great advantage.”

Pledging its support of the wholesale trade, Regal Publishing is a new sponsor of The Retas 2017 awards.
