Moonpig partners with The Entertainer

Online greetings and gift retailer offers toy ranges from two retail brands

 

Leading online greeting card retailer Moonpig has partnered with the UK’s largest independent toy store The Entertainer to offer a selection of its products alongside its personalised cards.

Launched on Moonpig’s website yesterday, 16 September, the range of more than 200 toys from The Entertainer and its sister brand The Early Learning Centre, includes properties such as PAW Patrol, Barbie and Squishmallows.

“We are delighted to welcome two amazing brands to our gifting portfolio,” Moonpig’s general manager David Rimmer said, “which has not only helped expand our baby and children’s gifting ranges, but also reinforces our commitment to only having the best brands on site as part of our ongoing trusted brand strategy.”

The aim is to allow customers to create personal card and gift combinations for babies and children across every occasion, including birthdays and new baby celebrations.

The Entertainer group CEO Andrew Murphy OBE said Moonpig is the latest business to adopt his company’s Toy Box – Total Retail Solution plan, which allows retailers to choose a bespoke sourcing, ranging, wholesale or retail execution of their toy proposition.

He added: “Our partnership with Moonpig is testament to the versatility, as well as the attractiveness, of this offer. We can’t wait to launch on Moonpig, and welcome them as a Toy Box partner alongside Matalan, M&S, Tesco and a host of other retailers across the globe.”

To ensure customers can shop the new collections with ease, Moonpig has designed intelligent prompts which use customer data to make personalised gifting suggestions suited to both the occasion and recipient making it easier to discover the various gifting ranges, and create personal card and gift combinations.

The new ranges of bestselling toys from are priced from £12 to £35, and feature a mixture of soft toy characters from popular children’s books and shows, including The Gruffalo and Peter Rabbit, plus sets from Hot Wheels, Bluey, Peppa Pig and Playmobil.

David said: “Moonpig’s aim is to always provide customers with the opportunity to create the most personalised card and gift combinations, and we are confident this new collection will strengthen that commitment and ambition to become the go-to place for all gifting needs.”
