Make A Date For The Calies 2019

The UK Calendar Awards 2019, now known under their friendlier moniker of The Calies are now open for entries.

Launched in 2017 by Max Publishing (owners of Progressive Greetings and PG Buzz), with huge support from the calendar and diary sector, The Calies are annual awards that recognise excellence in the calendar, advent calendar and diaries sector, including retail, charity and corporate (B2B) titles.

Calendar and diary producers are being invited to enter their 2020 dated titles, while advent calendars can be for those available for 2019 season. Entering The Calies is easy and free of charge.

The deadline for entering is Friday 4 October.

The retail entries will be judged by a panel of knowledgeable retail buyers while the corporate (B2B) categories go under the scrutiny of industry and design experts.

The Calies 2019 look set to build on the success of last two years’ awards, with the winners announced to be announced at a late afternoon/early evening event that will take place at Stationers’ Hall, in the City of London, on Tuesday 19 November.

Commenting, Warren Lomax, co-owner of The Calies said: “It is wonderful the way The Calies have quickly been established as respected accolades. Last year’s Calies attracted a record number of entries and the awards event itself was incredibly well-attended by retailers, publishers, trade suppliers and licensors.” As he adds “The Calies give true recognition of the vibrant creativity within the calendar and diary sector.”
