The memorial event will be the chance for the industry to say “cheers” to Lynn Tait.

Lynn Tait, sadly passed away on 1 June this year, but through her many connections to the trade, being a retailer, card publisher, ‘Queen’ of The Ladder Club as well as PG columnist, she touched so many people’s lives in a very good way.

Being organised by PG’s Jakki Brown, the memorial will be an afternoon event (2.30pm-5pm) being held at The Depot, adjacent to PG’s offices near Kings Cross.

“It feels only right that we in the industry create an event that celebrates the wonderful Lynn. I am keen to hear from anyone who would like to be involved in speaking, giving a reading or sharing a memory. Everyone will be welcome, as Lynn loved a good party!” commented Jakki.

The memorial is expected to follow a theme of ‘Lessons from Lynn’ paying homage to her selfless sharing of advice and encouragement on both business and personal fronts.

“Rose Hill of Rose Hill Designs came up with a great idea of people sending or bringing a card including what lessons they have learned from Lynn. The cards will then be passed on to her 13 grandchildren to make them aware of the ‘greeting card life’ of their Granny.”
