Lola Design has kicked off a multi-faceted consumer marketing campaign, which will run up to Christmas, as support retailers who stock its brand.
Known predominantly for its Wildlife Botanical collection, the couple behind Lola Design, Amanda and Frank Mountain wanted to do something a little bit out of the ordinary to promote the brand.
“We wanted something fun and different to convey the essence of what the brand stands for, the people behind it and love that goes into the everything we do,” said Frank, who runs the sales and operational side of the business.
The couple came up with the idea of creating a series of fun adverts that would run on social media channels, featuring their beloved pug, Rocky, that would work in tandem with press activity in leading consumer publications, such as Period Living, Home Style & Your Home.
Having developed the creative concept, Frank and Amanda then worked with digital marketing agency Hamilton Branding and confetti maestros, Confetti Magic to bring it to life.
“Rocky of course plays an important role in the ad, he keeps us sane by making us go out for walks with him, so it would have been wrong not to include him!” said Amanda, who is responsible for all art creation and social media at Lola Design. “We had a lot of fun on the shoot. All the confetti we used was bio-degradable, though I must say it does get everywhere!”
Lola Design is showing at Autumn Fair, (Hall 6, Stand E01) which is open until tomorrow (4 September).
