Leading greeting card digital print specialist, The Imaging Centre has bolstered its team with the appointment of Julie Brightly who has left envelope company, Enveco to join the Tonbridge-based business as its sales development manager. At the same time, Ed Starling has also joined the company, from printer Offset Impressions to take on the role of production manager.
“This is really good news for us,” commented Bob Short, md of The Imaging Centre. “Julie’s and Ed’s industry experience will be invaluable in helping with the increase in business we are getting from IC Simplicity,” adds Bob, referring to the company’s computer to print system.
Julie joins The Imaging Centre bringing with her a wealth of greeting card industry experience. “I joined the industry 25 years ago as a merchandiser for publisher Statics which saw me crawling around WHSmith floors putting cards out – I still have the knees to show for it!” she joked. Julie then went on to become Paperlink’s first rep in the South West, before joining Hammond Gower and then The Art Group (under the original owners). After a spell outside the industry, four years ago she joined envelope company Enveco as an pivotal member of its sales team.
Julie told PG Buzz: “I feel so incredibly lucky to be joining The Imaging Centre at this exciting time in the company’s development. It will also mean that I will be maintaining links with Enveco, which supplies The Imaging Centre.”
