Jessica Hogarth Celebrates ‘The Makers’ With A Just A Card Giclee Print

You’ve got the sticker, wear the enamel pin badge, now you can have the print! Talented illustrator and greeting card publisher, Jessica Hogarth has collaborated with Sarah Hamilton, founder of Just A Card to produce a giclee print that celebrates creative makers and will raise funds for the campaign.

Jessica’s distinctive illustrations surround the ‘We are the makers’ poem, written by The Bespoke Bard.

“Sarah and I ‘met’ on Twitter in 2012 and then in real life shortly after! She has always been so kind about my artwork, and supportive of what I am doing with my business,” explains Jessica. The two women first worked together when Jessica was a contributing artist for the House of Cards book, which Sarah authored.

“Sarah has worked tirelessly to spread the message of the importance of ‘shopping small’. The sales from the Just a Card shop window stickers and enamel pins have been hugely important in terms of raising funds for the campaign and this print is another product to help to do that.”

Jessica’s colourful illustrations surrounding the text highlight more creative disciplines than are covered by the poem.

The A4 print (which measures 210mm x 297mm) is printed on 300gsm Accent Callisto matt soft white board. It is available sold unframed for £16 (including postage) from the Just A Card website. https://www.justacard.org/shop/we-are-the-makers-print

This new print collaboration is the latest in a burst of activity for the campaign. It follows the recent big hurrah, which saw celebs galore featured on a series of posters proudly wearing a Just a Card pin badge as part of its Just a Book activity, that was underpinned by the Funding Circle.
