I Drew This adds expanding product collaborations to growing collection
Ilona Drew has been a very busy bee over the past few weeks, culminating in a visit to world-famous department store Harrods to see her artwork on exclusive products for the retailer.
The I Drew This artist made the trip to London from her Brighton base last weekend for the unveiling of her drawing of the iconic building – the latest in her Landmarks series that started as a greeting card range – as the design on a notebook and luxury tote bag, with more products in the pipeline.
“It was a very surreal feeling walking through the beautiful store to find the artwork created at my little desk on the shelves looking stunning,” Ilona told PG Buzz, “it was one of my proudest moments by far.
“I then went on to visit the toilets at London Bridge train station which have been decorated with a collection of my colourful London landmarks, the colours looked amazing and again I was bursting with pride and excitement to see my colourful artwork brightening up the doors of the toilets.”
Finally, she made a quick visit into The View From The Shard shop which has become a new stockist this year and are already reporting good sales of her magnets, mugs, greeting cards, prints and coasters and I loved the stylish shop.
Back In April, Ilona’s drawings of Brighton & Hove Albion’s Amex stadium and Shoreham Airport were unveiled as large-scale artworks decorating the Royal Sussex County Hospital in the seaside town.
She added: “It’s been an incredible year so far for I Drew This – Landmarks continues to bring me wonderful opportunities and I’m excited to see what else is around the corner.”
