Titivate your toga ready for The Henries 2024 awards and check out colossal raffle prizes
It’s time to get titivating your togas and all set to gad about in those gladiator sandals for the ancient Rome-themed Henries Awards 2024, with just a week to go to the big night.
London’s Royal Lancaster Hotel is the venue on Thursday, 3 October, and don’t forget to bring your wallet to be with a chance of winning any of the 11 magnificus prizes in the raffle raising money for industrywide charity The Light Fund as well as Pancreatic Cancer UK.
The only way you can get your hands on these incredible treats is to be at the glitzy ceremony for the Oscars of the greeting card industry – and there are some last-minute tickets available where you can join the finalists in the product and The Lynn Tait Most Promising Young Designer Or Artist categories and those chosen for the Best Service To The Independent trophy.
As well as the great and the good from the publisher and supplier sides, retailers including Aldi, Cardfactory, Cardzone, Expressions, House of Cards, Hugs & Kisses, Postmark, Presentation, Red Card, Sainsbury’s, Scribbler, Tesco, and WHSmith are among those who will also be enjoying a bit of Rome-py Pompeii and jokes from event host and comedian George Zacharopoulos.
And a fragrance fest, footie derby, racetrack thrills, theatre tickets, fabulous food, vineyard tour, and spa pampering are on the cards if your number comes up in the raffle on the night, with six tickets for £20 or three for £10.
Every single penny boosts The Light Fund’s coffers, where over £2million has been given away since its inception in 2004 to more than 250 charity projects helping less fortunate men, women and children all over the world – and half the money from this year’s event will then be given to Pancreatic Cancer UK.
