Giftware Association looking forward to GOTY People’s Choice Award announcement
The Giftware Association ceo Sarah Ward is looking forward to announcing the winner of the Gift Of The Year’s People’s Choice Award as it’s voted for by the public.
The big reveal will happen at Harrogate Home & Gift’s popular Sundowners party on the first night of the trade show, which runs from Sunday to Wednesday, 16-19 July, with all shortlisted companies, finalists, and winners in the frame.
That party will also be a celebration for Progressive Gifts & Home magazine, a sibling to PG Buzz, which will be marking its 30th anniversary with Home & Gift organiser Clarion keen to support the publication’s milestone.
Last year the power of the greeting card triumphed in The People’s Choice with the public’s votes seeing Cardology’s Battersea Pop-Up Cards beating 284 other products to win the award in its second year, collecting 500 of the 7,000 votes cast.
“With the Gift Of The Year 2024 competition now up and running, it’s a shout out to suppliers to be sure to enter this year’s competition,” said Sarah. “Myself, together with the GA’s Chris Workman and Alina Masood, are looking forward to chatting with as many of you as possible at Home & Gift.
“The three of us are looking forward to celebrating the signing of the first entrant to the 2024 GOTY competition at the show!”
Taking the opportunity to mix business with pleasure for this year’s summer show, gift and greetings buyers from across the country will head to Home & Gift, which takes place over 16-19 July in the grounds of the DoubleTree by Hilton Harrogate, and in the Harrogate Convention Centre.
Greetings exhibitors at the 2023 show include Alex Clark Art, Alff A Bett Design, Alljoy Design, Angie’s Folk Art, Bewilderbeest, Caroline Gardner, Coulson Macleod, Dandelion Stationery, Fox & Butler, Ginger Betty, Hands & Hearts, Lizey May Illustration, Luke Horton Art, Molly Mae, Moongazer Cards, Natural Partners, Ohh Deer, Papersheep, Pigment, Roger La Borde, Santoro, Say It With Songs, Seedlings Cards & Gifts, Stephanie Davies, The Art File, Toasted Crumpet, Two Little Monkeys, and Vent For Change.
