Grab a Barley Bear hug at Spring Fair

IC&G expands gifting side as well as on sustainability

If you fancy a big Barley Bear hug then IC&G’s stand at Spring Fair is the place to be as the publisher has a free raffle with the chance to win an extra-large ted.

There are 13 premium quality, huggable, loveable Barley Bears in the range that has really put the gifting into International Cards & Gifts’ name – and its stand, Hall 3 M10-N11, at the upcoming NEC show over 5-8 February will be the first chance for retailers to see the exciting product development planned for 2023 following the launch in October 2022.

Alongside the soft and cuddly plush there will be new gifting concepts to check out, including mugs, notebooks and keepsake bears, plus the chance to win an extra-large Barley Bear in the special show raffle.

On the greetings front, IC&G is increasing its eco-credentials by showing its designs with all reprinted cards featuring the FSC and World Land Trust logos on the back page.

The publisher kicked off the new year with this move as studio manager Robin Birch explained: “We are proud to be a part of the World Land’s Trust Carbon Balanced Paper initiative. We now have a flyer that is being despatched in every order since our return after the new year.”

The flyer explains the use of carbon-balanced paper funds WLT’s ecosystem protection and restoration projects, which have so far enabled brands and organisations to balance more than 200,000 tonnes of CO2e helping to protect 19,000 acres of threatened habitats.
