Publishers picked in 11 categories – public vote for The People’s Choice opens
Publishers have really made the grade in the Gift Of The Year 2025 as the just-announced finalists’ list includes greetings names in no less than 11 of the 20 categories.
More than 120 folk from the home, gift and greetings industry stepped up to judge the competition organised by The Giftware Association, with many taking the time to check out the shortlisted products in person at Spring Fair earlier this month.

Expanding from the Cards, Wraps & Stationery category, publishers Rosie Made A Thing, Santoro London, Go La La!, The Little Dog Laughed and Widdop And Co all have two finalists’ places for GOTY, while The Art File, Onneke, Ink & Ivy Group, Pikkii, Letterbox Love, Vent For Change, Crumble & Core, Gibson, Fox Under The Moon, Sunshine Lane, Nicole Elders, Meg Hawkins, and Coffeenotes also made the list, which was revealed this morning, 19 February.
The GA’s PR and marketing manager Chris Workman said: “Each year we’re blown away by the level of talent and creativity within the home and gift industry, and 2025 has been no exception. It’s nice for me to set up the display and finally see the products in the real life. The judging panel faced an incredibly tough decision, with so many outstanding products and brands.”

After the online and in-person judging rounds, there’s just one more step for the judges – giving their thoughts on the Judges’ Choice product to be declared gift of the year.
There’s also the People’s Choice Award where the public can vote here for their favourite from all the shortlisted entries, including the finalists. Voting ends on 16 May.
And all will be revealed at The Gift Awards black-tie presentation on 15 May at London’s Royal Lancaster Hotel, where the GOTY winners will be announced, alongside The Greats Awards for outstanding gift retailers, which is owned and organised by Max Publishing, which also owns Progressive Greetings and PG Buzz.
