Go for promotion at PG Live

In a spin with Carte Blanche, gin’s the thing at Abacus, Penguin Ink on a roll – discover show offers

Roll up! Roll Up! It’s time to find out just what special offers and promotions are available at PG Live 2023 – and there’s plenty of fun to be had.

As the two-day show opens tomorrow, Tuesday, 6 June, at Carte Blanche Greetings on stand 222 visitors can get themselves in a real spin with 50% off when the Me To You and Wishing Well best sellers pack is ordered, giving £136.38 of free product – worth £327.20 at retail.

And the Spin To Win game gives everyone a chance to win their entire PG Live CBG order for free, along with other fantastic prizes of chocolates and discounts.

Over on the Widdop And Co stand 206, the company is celebrating a mere 140 years in business with the launch of products in the major licensing collaboration with publisher Raspberry Blossom – originally announced at last year’s PG Live.

Not content with simply taking card designs and rolling them out on products, each piece has been thoroughly considered with new patterns, illustrations and wording created for that product, and Raspberry Blossom co-owner Rebecca Green said: “We’re known for our die-cut cards and being innovative with our paper products, we’ve won a few awards to back this up too, so we wanted to make sure this level of innovativeness and detail was brought into this collection with Widdop & Co. We feel they’ve done this with aplomb!”

To dial up the fun factor at the show Widdop – whose new manufacturing division NoN Studios is up and running, and the company is always on the lookout for new partners in the greetings industry – has a prize draw running where a £150 voucher for top notch restaurant The Ivy is for grabs.

Gin’s the thing on stand 300 where sister companies Abacus and Clare Maddicott have specially labelled bottles of the fragrant spirit as a thank you for customers placing orders over £300 at the show so turn up for a chance to say “bottoms up”!

Penguin Ink is on a roll again, bringing back its popular roll the dice game from last year’s show where the number thrown relates to a free pack of cards on stand 130.

And Ohh Deer has been very generous, giving £50 vouchers to all 130-plus finalists in The Retas Awards 2023, so stand 316 will be a popular place to visit – especially as there are goodie bags available too.

Delicious treats can be found at White Cotton Cards, stand 225, too as all orders placed over the two days of the show will earn a free box of chocolates or tin of biscuits – just the thing to see retailers through before and after the complimentary lunch!

Many of the other 200+ PG Live exhibitors at the Business Design Centre have special offers and deals so it’s well worth turning up tomorrow and Wednesday, 6-7 June, to discover the best of the greetings industry at the UK’s only specialist trade show.
