Indies urged to get their Henries service nominations in as deadline extended to 7 August
Independent retailers now have until midnight on Sunday 7 August cast their votes in The Henries 2022 Best Service To The Independent Retailer award category.
“Independent retailers are masters at providing a wonderful service to their customers, but to be able to do so they need in turn to know that they can rely on fabulous service from their card publisher suppliers. The Best Service To The Independent Retailer award category in The Henries is their chance to ensure these publisher service heroes receive their just rewards,” commented Warren Lomax, director of Max Publishing, which owns and organises The Henries Awards.
“In our mission to safeguard the integrity of the Best Service Award to the Independent Retailer in The Henries 2022, we are making this year’s poll of independent retailers as exhaustive as possible and have extended the deadline by just over a week, until midnight on Sunday, 7 August, to enable even more indies to cast their votes,” Warren added.
Independent retailers are being asked to nominate who they consider are their top three card suppliers suppliers – as 1st, 2nd and 3rd choices – on the service front over the last year by casting their votes online and in confidence. Independent retailers who have not yet voted, can do so now…

These votes will then be tallied to arrive at the Best Service finalists, which will be announced on Tuesday, 9 August.
As this is among the most coveted of all the categories in The Henries Awards, a Bronze, Silver and Gold trophy will be awarded.
And it’s all go on the product category front too with this coming Tuesday, 2 August, being the day the fabulous panel of retailer judges get together at London’s Business Design Centre to go up close and personal with the designs which have made the shortlist so they can arrive at the finalists in those categories.
Winners of all categories will be revealed at The Henries Awards Ball on Thursday, 6 October, at the prestigious Royal Lancaster London. The greeting card industry’s big night has an uplifting 1950s theme, and the event starts with at cocktail reception in the Nine Kings Suite, followed by dinner and the awards presentations and plenty of schmoozing and dancing.
