Danilo’s Cliff and Kelly calendars in ‘stop press’ coverage

The Mirror went to town turning the pages on Cliff Richard’s official 2019 calendar (published by Danilo) in its September 4 edition. The newspaper tips that it could be Cliff’s best-selling calendar yet as fans rally around the 77-year-old after his High Court victory over the BBC over its coverage of a police raid on his home amid false sex-assault claims.

The calendar features a new series of monthly shots showing a smiling Sir Cliff on stage in a series of poses, including strumming his guitar. The blurb promises his fans will “not be disappointed with this year’s A3 format official calendar featuring a collection of stunning images of this pop icon favourite”.

Meanwhile, Danilo clinched another story about another popular star – Kelly Brook – as her 2019 calendar going on sale on The Daily Mail online.

Commenting on the media coverage, Daniel Prince, managing director of Danilo said: “We are delighted to kickstart the 2019 calendar season with the launch to consumers in the press of two of our favourite calendars – Cliff Richard and Kelly Brook – this week.”

Daniel revealed that the publisher “held back some calendar images until now for these big media splashes to give maximum impact. We are sure Cliff and Kelly’s fans will love the 2019 calendars. And judging by comments on social media so far that seems the case. Ensuring our products are placed in front of the public eye is something we pride ourselves on at Danilo.”
