Popular Harrogate summer show kicks off on Sunday
Sundowners on the beautiful lawns are in store for visitors to Home & Gift as the very popular four-day summer trade show is set to open at the Harrogate Convention Centre on Sunday, 17 July.
With the greeting card exhibitors distributed throughout the main halls and Design Point tents, this year’s key sectors are General Gift, Home & Interiors, Jewellery & Fashion, and the Food Emporium, with the addition of a curated product selection in Design-Led Gifts.
Across the show, some 800 brands will be exhibiting with The Art File, Belly Button Designs, Caroline Gardner, Coulson Macleod, Dandelion Stationery, Ohh Deer, and Pigment among the well-known greeting card names, alongside a number of emerging companies, including Aardvark Press, Daisycat, Fiddy+Mabel, GruffPawtraits, Ink And Snail, Luke Horton Art, Pankhurst Gallery, and Shroot.
And, following on from the success of the Manchester Furniture Show at Home & Gift last year, coupled with the rapid growth of the homewares sector, this year’s outing will see the debut of the Furniture Collection which will be taking over both Hall Q and the Kings Suite.
“Visitors always appreciate discovering newness at our events, and the show’s rapid expansion, coupled with the introduction of an additional Design Point marquee, has enabled the team to put a significant emphasis on this for 2022,” commented Home & Gift’s show manager David Westbrooke.
“Over 30% of the exhibitors this year are brand new to Home & Gift, including The Vintage Garden Room, Butterfly Fashion, Designworks, Opinel and Ohh Deer.
“In addition, we have a host of suppliers returning to the show that weren’t with us in 2021, to include Richard Lang & Son, Jellycat, Belly Button Designs, Kikkerland and Enesco, along with hundreds of brands that are here every year that our retailers know and love.”
The new Browse & Meet networking platform will give buyers the opportunity to see new products in advance, enabling them to create their own Product Wishlist. Buyers are also able to message companies and request appointments with exhibitors on site.
Networking opportunities include the Sundowner drinks on the lawn on Sunday evening, as well as happy hours which will take place throughout the event, which runs through to Wednesday, 20 July.
