Carte Blanche has reinforced its commitment to the Wishing Well brand with the appointment of Jude Williams to the role of lead designer.
When Carte Blanche Greetings took the decision to close down the Wishing Well Studios design studio in Wigan a few months ago and move all operations for this traditional card brand under the roof of its Chichester HQ it did so issuing the assurance that it would appoint a champion for the brand.
Jude, who has been part of the CBG team for nine years, predominantly working on the Me to You brand put herself forward for this new role. Prior to this Jude was involved on the design and brand side for several leading companies.
“Although I’ve loved working on Me to You, I can’t wait to get my teeth back into the traditional card design,“ Jude told PG Buzz. “It’s such an important part of the card market and I’m really excited as to where I can take Wishing Well next.’”
Commenting on CBG’s commitment to Wishing Well, Julia Andrews, trade marketing manager of the group said: “Wishing Well remains central to the Carte Blanche business and the appointment of Jude, as dedicated brand champion for our traditional brand who will have the understanding and design flair to take it forward is testament to this.”
Jude has recently completed a new range of Wishing Well specialist everyday cards and has now turned her attentions to a Christmas 2018 range.
Jude shares a few of her personal passions: “Sewing, beaches (I live a few minutes walk from the beach and I love an evening swim when the weather and tide is right); Spain, I have just bought village house in Andalucia for retirement (some years away yet!); friends, family and having fun!”
