The specialist budget greeting card and gift retailer did not let the 39°C heat for their first day on Monday, 18 July, get in the way of the debut in the capital’s centre.

Card Factory regional manager Maureen Whele posted on social media: “So proud of this amazing group of ladies – merchandising our first new Card Factory in Central London on Tottenham Court Road. Regardless of the heat, these fabulous ladies delivered!”

Taking the company’s expansion plans forward, the Card Factory machine rolls on. With its store estate now well past the 1,000 mark, mainly in secondary locations, this Saturday 23 July, will see the next one opening in Denton, Gtr Manchester.

These store openings come hot on the heels of Card Factory clinching the Best Specialist Greeting Card Multiple in The Retas 2022 greeting card retailer awards.
