Matthias Seeger replaces Kris Lee at greeting retail giant
Card Factory has announced that Matthias Seeger is replacing Kris Lee as the greeting card retail giant’s chief financial officer, taking over on 22 May, 2023.
With Kris now set to leave the business on 31 January, stepping down from the company’s board at the same time, group financial controller Simon Comer will be appointed as interim CFO but will not be appointed to the board.
Matthias has been CFO of Ambassador Cruise Line since February 2022, having been CFO of Costcutter Supermarkets Group from September 2015 to September 2021, and his 31-year career has included a diverse range of regional and global finance leadership posts with Procter & Gamble in Germany, the UK, Belgium and Switzerland. He has a master’s degree in engineering and an MBA from the University Of Texas.
