Autumn Fair opens for registration

Over 800 brands already signed up for the 1-4 September show

 

Registration is now live for Autumn Fair, the largest second half of the year showcase for gifts, home, greetings and fashion, with over 800 brands confirmed for the 1-4 September dateline.

The show has also announced that over a quarter of the exhibitor line-up at the Birmingham NEC event is new, and over 30% are exclusive to Autumn Fair.

Organiser Hyve says it expects over 12,000 independent retailers and buyers from High Street favourites including Tesco, John Lewis, Next, WHSmith, Dunelm, Amazon, Asos, Boots, Sainsbury’s, TJX, Hamleys, Elphicks and Cardzone to be shopping the show for an injection of newness during retail’s peak buying season as the countdown to Christmas kicks off.

Within the greeting card and stationery contingent in hall six will be The Art File, Brainbox Candy, Cardgains, Coach House Partners,  The Eco-friendly Card Company, Emma Ball, Emotional Rescue, Five Dollar Shake, Go On Make Me, Lola Design, Louise Tiler, Manuscript Pen Company, Marina B Designs, Megan Claire, Moongazer, N Smith & Co, Natural Partners, Paper Salad, Rush Design, Tall Boy Prints, Toasted Crumpet, Twizler, and Wish Strings – and there’s also the GCA Debut space.

With visitors anticipated from over 60 countries, over 70% of which are expected to be independent retailers says Hyve, many of whom attend to source stock for the vital festive period.

Tasha Richardson from online company Snowflake Sentiments is a longstanding visitor: “I’ve been visiting since 1993 to look for new products, finding out what’s new for next year, what’s on trend and what’s not! I’m always looking for new suppliers and usually find them.”

And Karen Eatough has travelled from her Abbots Bromley country and home interiors store Dolly & Joe’s for the past 13 years because she loves finding new suppliers: “Everyone is so friendly and I love finding new products, there’s always something new to see and I never want to leave!”

With 10 definitive product sectors at Autumn Fair, including the latest gifts, greetings, stationery, candles, home décor and accessories, toys, and fashion, the September show will showcase a curated selection of the newest and bestselling products. The 2024 show will also see a greater focus on new and original products, Best of British suppliers and products, and sustainable suppliers.

There’s a new collaboration with online marketplace Faire aimed helping exhibiting brands take orders on its platform from retailers attending the show.

And buyers will also gain access to the platform’s extensive global network of brands, helping them discover thousands more unique products and take advantage of a 50% discount for new retailers on their first order to help them easily shop at the show and beyond.
