Two days of stationery, arts and crafts fill the Business Design Centre
And we’re off! London Stationery Show is open with all the fabulous newness, creativity and sheer brilliance of the stationery industry on display.
The doors opened at 9.30am this morning, Tuesday, 14 May, at the Business Design Centre in Islington for the 12th outing of the UK’s only dedicated trade show for the sector.
The show promises to be an unmissable gathering for stationery and gift buyers, retailers, dealers and resellers, featuring the biggest selection of art, crafts, writing and paper products from around the world, all under one roof.
This is the first show under the new ownership of Max Publishing, and director Rob Willis said: “We’re all absolutely buzzing about the show and can’t wait to welcome all the visitors this year. The exhibitors have done an amazing job on their stands – there are some really innovative products this year, so make sure you come down and have a look.”
A highlight of the show is the visit from Ryman and London Graphic Centre’s Theo Paphitis, who’s delivering the keynote at 12.30pm today. He leads a stellar programme of talks and workshops that include Martha Brook founder Martha Keith tomorrow at 12.15pm talking about growing an engaged audience on social media, handwriting analysis from leading graphologist Christina Strang at 1pm today, and hands-on sessions on clay modelling (1pm tomorrow) and brush lettering (10.45am today).
