It’s back to school time and as shiny as new school shoes, Progressive Greetings’ September 2023 edition has landed and the digital version of the magazine has been uploaded too!

The news section covers recent developments from all aspects of the trade, from Clintons’ closures being on the cards to Card Factory’s trading being ahead of expectations.

With 35 top retailers forming the live judging panel for The Henries product awards, PG took advantage of the opportunity to ask these esteemed buyers for their top wishes for the industry, as well as for their views on the importance of the awards. To see and read more, click here.

And, on the afternoon of The Henries judging, many of the buyers stayed on to contribute to an important Retailer Roundtable discussion co-hosted by PG and the GCA with their ideas of how to boost Christmas card sending this year, adding to the recently launched #Cardmitment pr and marketing consumer campaign. While Mark Janson-Smith, managing director of Postmark, was one of The Henries judges and his indie retail chain is the sponsor of the Young Designer award, it was at The Retas Awards in July that the group was in the spotlight, clinching the top Greeting Card Retailer Of The Year award in testament to its sterling expansion.
