Wrap specialist changes tack to meet ‘real appetite’ for mainstay occasions
Glick has changed tack with its new Spring Seasons release, replacing the former Academic package with an expanded Thanks & Congrats collection.
Aimed at celebration and gratitude, it now covers the Thank You Teacher and Graduation seasons while also working for weddings.
With PG’s own Viewpoints: Spring Seasons in the August issue showing retailers still rely on these mainstay occasions but had found some issues with sourcing suitable cards and wrap, Roy Beswick, co-owner of The Card Collection in East Moseley, said: “A worrying trend is the news that some publishers aren’t offering a Spring Seasons selection at all for next year and some are offering a vastly-reduced range.”
And Glick md Becky Dobson told PG Buzz: “We’re finding there is still a real appetite for wrappings for the Spring Seasons, and an increased appetite for Easter and to give thanks.”
As well as the Thanks & Congrats package, Glick offers Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and Easter collections with each including matching flat wrap, tags and tissue paper, and features designs licensed from bestselling artists Paper Salad, Stephanie Dyment and Think Of Me.
All products are available on a sale or return basis and can be pre-ordered via the company’s webshop, sales agents or office for delivery and payment in 2023.
