Top Drawer returns to Olympia

Retail Revitalised is message for design-led trade show’s AW22 outing

The design-led lifestyle and interiors trade show Top Drawer returns to Kensington Olympia for the three-day AW22 edit next month with a goodly array of greeting card exhibitors.

Comedy Card Company, Deadpan Cards, English Graphics, Ink & Bloom, James Ellis, Poet And Painter, Redback Cards, Rosie Made A Thing, Vent For Change, and 2 To Tango are among those who have their stands booked, as show organiser Clarion Events champions the new season message of “retail revitalised”.

The organiser said: “While both the AW21 and SS22 shows provided an opportunity to test the waters in a post-pandemic climate, Top Drawer’s new season message Retail Revitalised aims to highlight how we are beginning a fresh chapter in the world of retail and looking ahead with an unapologetically positive outlook for this September’s edition.

“The world of retail is ever-changing, and Top Drawer is here to help you adapt, learn and grow to stay relevant – with unmissable tips, expert advice and thought-provoking conversations, join us to be inspired for the season ahead.”

The show runs over Sunday to Tuesday, 11-13 September, at the London venue, with over 1,500 brands from the UK and abroad, in the Home, Gift, Greetings & Stationery, Play, Wellbeing, and Food Emporium sectors – as well as Launchpad, which made its debut during the SS22 edition to put fresh faces in the spotlight, allowing them to network with high-calibre buyers and build lasting connections within the industry.

For this edition, Top Drawer will also see the return of the show’s partnership with the University Of Arts London, as well as introducing a selection of Young Furniture Makers who have been hand-selected to showcase their products and are eager to increase their brand exposure.

Also returning is the G.F Smith-sponsored RetailFest with a series of talks with leading voices across retail sharing their wisdom and experience to help people stay ahead by thinking about the myriad ideas and challenges to making a business special.

And the Reveal Skills Studio will be providing a unique opportunity for visitors to join intimate workshops led by some of the very best. Covering everything from visual merchandising and product photography to international export and top tips for nailing social media and PR.
