Following hot on the heels of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations, PG Live 2022 brought the whole global UK greeting card community back together, with exhibiting publishers having pulled out the stops and retailers lapping up the wealth of newness. And, talking of upbeat, PG columnist and indie retailer David Robertson is in buoyant mood as the birth of his son Hudson has further reinforced the importance of greeting cards to mark life’s events and the independent retailer’s role as part of this (click here).

“I’ve never worked so hard in my life,” Andy Pearce, founder of online operator Thortful, reflected on the past few pandemic years when the online greeting card platform really came into its own, quadrupling its turnover to £28million in just one year. To read Food For Thortful click here.
