Vote For The Winners Of The PaperAwards

The shortlist of nominees for the PaperAwards S/S22 has been unveiled today (December 10) with those in the industry now being invited to vote for which companies they feel should win.

Organised by Top Drawer and sponsored by paper company G.F Smith, the PaperAwards S/S22 comprise four award categories – Exciting Use of Colour, Emotive Design and Engaging Print and Best Stationery Design – each celebrating creativity and innovation at its finest.

EXCITING USE OF COLOUR

With colour trends constantly evolving, this category boasts a range of brands that keep up to date with the latest colour trends and use colours at the forefront of their designs.

The shortlisted companies are….

Alphablots, Cath Tate Cards, I am Roxanne, Kali Stileman Publishing, Raspberry Blossom and Sisterpaper Co.

EMOTIVE DESIGN

This category shines a light on wellbeing, special occasions and events. With wellbeing and mental health at the forefront for the past year, the shortlist includes brands that dive deep into thoughtful and personal designs.

The shortlisted companies are….

Cath Tate Cards, Katarina Sophia, Raspberry Blossom, Ricicle and Wanderlust Paper.

ENGAGING PRINT

This category focuses on unique and bold prints, designed to tell a story.

The shortlisted companies are….

Alphablots, Natalie Alex Designs, Raspberry Blossom, Roger La Borde.

BEST STATIONERY DESIGN

From timeless designs to innovative accessories, this category features a range of brands that excel in designing the most aesthetically pleasing stationery.

The shortlisted companies are….

Coffe Notes, Crispin Finn, Elvira VV Designs, Paperkin and Wanderlust Paper.

The judging panel top arrive at the shortlist included GF Smith’s Abbie Ross, Mark Jessett, Emma Oliver and Janet Stevens as well as Samantha Gibbs (Nest);Mark Janson-Smith (Postmark); Emma Hawkins (Fortnum & Mason); Sarah Holmes (Pencil Me In); Craig Kilmartin and Fran Webberley  (Five & Dime);Preena Patel (The Design Museum); Sarah Sevier (V&A); and Victoria Suffield (The Hambledon).
All winners’ products will be displayed at Top Drawer (16-18 January 2022, at London’s Olympia) beside the RetailFest stage.
